Brought in early, the studio collaborates closely with architects and builders as a trusted partner, ensuring the structure and interiors are considered as a whole. With technical fluency and a refined process, MDC leads projects with steadiness and expertise. Brittany and her team provide detailed documentation, spending the necessary time to plan layouts, consider functionality, and thoughtfully select materials, fixtures, and furnishings. Attention to detail is apparent in everything MDC does, from the process and deliverables to the materials and pieces chosen for each room.
Our Approach
Full-service residential design is Maeve's primary focus — new construction and large-scale renovation where the architecture, interiors, and furnishings need to be resolved together from the start. The studio works alongside architects and builders from the earliest planning stages, so structural and interior decisions are made in conversation with each other rather than in sequence.
Layouts, finish specifications, custom millwork, material selection, furnishings, procurement, and final installation are all managed by the same team, with the same point of view, from beginning to end. For clients building or renovating a long-term home, that unbroken thread from the first architectural decision to the final placement of furnishings is what makes the difference.
